Description
April wakes to the sound of iron bars sliding open. Her eyes struggle to focus on the guard entering her cell...and the sword in his hand. Her sword.
With a groan, she rolls out of her cot to confront him. The world rocks and sways beneath her feet. Pain streaks through her head with every heartbeat. She knows she cannot win a fight in this condition; but she knows she has no choice.
Her situation just went from bad to worse.
