My intent is to produce high-quality textures and texture packages for 3d clothes, object, props and scenes. Textures have to look great and be usable in a variety of camera setups. You should be able to 'feel' the textures and materials with your eyes. Regards, -Nancy.
BIO
WAX Textures is a sort-of acronym for "Walker ArtWorx". Soon after I became interested in digital graphics I became hooked on Bryce 2 and became (and still am) a devotee of the DTE (Deep Texture Editor). I rely heavily on Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, Texture Maker, Bryce and a variety of FX filters and tools to create fabrics and construct texture sets.

Thank you :)) I worry about losing too much detail when I start playing with FX. When I finished this piece, I thought it turned out well, but put it away for about 3 weeks before I looked at again last night. I was still happy with it :) and I very much appreciate the commments.

Drea71 - I uploaded the original to my site and you can see it at the link below: http://www.walkerplanet.com/artworx/2dgallery/hsborig.jpg The display is a part of SCHOLZ Farms annual "Pumpkin Palace" in the Puyallup Valley in WA state. They have, as advertised, fields of pumpkins and gourds to pick out and purchase, some farm animals, a play area for kids and a 'corn maze' in one of the corn fields (this year's theme was dedicated to Harry Potter). In the summer they sell their produce. It's really a delightful place to take kids
