Description
Body sculpting is taken from another 19"x24" work. I started out with a very light contour sketch of the basic form but the finished work is don't completely in Pen and India Ink. I used stipling, straight lines, contour lines, and even some solid fill to create this illusion of shape and complexity. I have to say, India ink is probably the toughest medium to work with aside from watercolor. This one also requires the quality disclaimer about the junky digital camera I used for the sake of convenience. Maybe someday I'll update them with improved images.
