Description

Trapped in Ice and Time is the story of a down on his luck guy who seems to always be caught between a rock and a hard place. Something I can relate to. This isn't a real book cover BTW. After rendering it, I realized it looked better in either a movie poster or book cover format. Noah J. Atherly is a character from the book I've mentioned before, in which he is a writer. Confusing eh? Comments/Votes always welcome if you feel the urge. Thanks for viewing as always! Poser/Vue/Photoshop The guy was posed and matted in Poser, put into Vue where it was rendered and just some color correction for postwork (except for the titles of course). Credits: Image/Concept by ShadowWind Mike 2 with Boris by Capsces (Man I love those morphs) Texture is Syyd's Merlin from RuntimeDNA

Clever concept and very well executed! My only comment would be about the artifacts on his wrists... what's happening there? I think that this would make a terrific book cover, if only "Noah" would ever complete that manuscript. :o)

That was actually supposed to be a wrist cut, but the shadowing kinda got in the way. Anyway, I decided to do a little postpainting on it to get rid of it...

great stuff - books, magazines, posters are up near the top for me: I love type and printing anyway, and combining with an image is some kind of ultimate pinnacle. [There, urge satisfied!] Keen on the poser work in this one, too!
