Personal Journal, Tikal Oni'sha 232.394.48 YEAR 3098 Sector 27 near Mine Alpha 9 Sirius Omega System Mom The transport ships are taking the last of the soldiers out to the frontline. The shuttles are taking off every hour. Backwards and forwards they go. The council of the town held a meeting last night, they said that everybody had to help protect the mining colony while the remaining soldiers tried to make the corporation turn away. They said we didn't have enough soldiers to guard the colony and fight. They asked everybody, even me... I've heard some of the other people talking, they say we'll all die soon, they say we're going to die for nothing. I think they are wrong, this is our home, it's our planet, doesn't matter how valuable it is to offworlders. Mom...I'm scared, they've given me a gun, I don't know what I'm supposed to do, some people have run away, run to the mountains, maybe they can hide for a while, but they won't stop looking for us even if we hide. I remember, they didn't stop looking for you. Mom, I love you. Fruits of a day's labour here. Featuring Moebius87's own Dystopia city blocks and Dectotech sets and bounty hunter backpack. With Cypher's K4 Bunker, a star wars turret from Sci-Fi3D and IW43D's Shuttle. Also featured Biohazard's suit and RDNA Sci-fi Cargo canisters. Wasn't too sure if this was suited to a colour version, black and white seemed to fit the story. Now yer cooking! :o) Thanks for the credits, but I must confess that the models I created were really designed with awesome artists like you in mind (not to mention a damn good creative writer as well).

I like the camera angle a lot. The haze and atmospherics also add a lot to the mood of this image! Awesome effort with tremendous results, my friend!

Really beautiful image that goes so very well with the story. I can see the fear on that man's face. The POV is exceptional and I like the rain and your black and white effect. Beautiful!
