Description

When younger, I would pretend to be something I wasn't. Never again. I see Life and Death in everything.

Why was my breeding ordered and prescribed as of a person separate to God, Designed for great exploits; if I must die, betrayed, captived, and both my eyes put out, made of my enemies the scorn and gaze, to grind in brazen fetters under task, with this heav'n-gifted strength? ..O Dark, Dark, Dark, from "Samson Agonistes" by Milton...great work, inspired.

Ya know Frank Gem show'd me this b-4 you so artfully introspected it. I guess I saw the one before the battle ...lol wicked work as always my friend. (sends happy lil butterfly full of joy and glee to watchfully remind you of life and its beauty) :-)

...and that is a very optimistic approach frogman which reminds me of another adage, "ignorance is bliss". Unfortunately for me with my "gift", I cannot close one eye and see only the beautiful blue eyes of Adolf Hitler and not the monster that lurks within nor could I look upon an innocent child and forget that children have built entire cities...as well as destroyed them.

You have special gift, when you can see Adolfs beautiful blue eyes, but you also have your cross to carry. Everything costs something. Dead bird can be beautiful, mother Teresa can be your worst nightmare. Good to have you back. This is no gore, this is pain.

thank you frank for showing the other side of you... i dont see the horror that you see , i only see pain and suffering... which can be eased... yes there is horrors where ever we look but also, cant one see the beauty in life? I have been beaten, lied to, deserted by those who loved me, mentally abused, i have almost died 3 times and yet I can still see beauty in all that is shown to me...

...and that is an amazing thing too chris. Thank you for sharing that. Oh, do not be mislead by my apparent one-sidedness in artistic subject matter. I too see beauty. Example... Today my thirteen year old daughter was cutting the grass as I 'stupervised' and I watched as she suddenly stopped mowing to allow a small moth to take flight from the grass in front of her in order that it could save it's own life. The enormity of this act of kindness to such a small irrelevent creature by my daughter brought tears frighteningly all too quick to my eyes and I had to walk off a ways to recompose myself. For one brief moment the beauty of the innocence that is my daughter nearly overwhelmed me.

interesting....relating to your daughter...I cut a stick bug once deliberately, and have never quite understood or gotten over the guilt of doing it....it was to me the closest thing to a random act of violence against nature. You know the biz about the white picket fence and creating ragingly dirty and bloody images? It wasn't until the white picket fence dream died, that the other stuff came pouring out.

Syyd- But would you give up that new found inspiration for anything? I know I wouldn't. slaanesh- An event horizon is a location and without mass. You can see where it is but not it itself...the movie was interesting however.

I'm just commenting on this one, but all your work are truly scary - this is real horror (as opposed to some 'lotsa blood and guts' pics). I understand what you described as your 'gift' - seeing things in everything...
