Ok, I'm as confused as you are....The only thing I can guess, is that it's just a POV issue..Try a different POV and see if the torus reflects... It should.. I really like what your doing with this batch of experiments...

did you resize the torus using a combination of the thumbwheels in the torus editor and using the scale tool? I think that has something to do with it.... I've duplicated it here in a very simple file, so I'll submit a bug report on it.
zescanner
I see a reflection of your torus in the water. But it doesn't line up with the reflection of the sphere. It's as if the torus is actually farther away.

its only because u mentioned it that i noticed it it has taken me some time to figger out what u meant by it. my geuss is it has to do with the sun orbit cuz idd like zescanner said it i saw it to there is a reflection of the torus but it seems to be way out of it settings i think it may be doing something with the suns shadow reflection dunnow really but to me it seems the most logical explenation cuz where the torus is just in the middle u see' the reflection i mean' there's a bit of a black spot on the water wich could mean its the sphere its represanting r something like that still dude an excellent effort in mindbending rules greetz great work!!

Well, I haven't started playing with primitives yet, but this certainly gives me incentive. Thanks for the image!

Your work inspires me! Again, I am a decade late coming into the MJW scene. Better late than never.
