Where Tracks Meet Tide by danamo

I haven't posted anything for a few months and I had a railroad bridge model I'd made in Wings3D just sitting around. I decided to place it in a scene and post it just for practice. The ironic thing is that someone else in the Bryce Forum posted a pic with the same theme, but I'd already worked on this pic for a while so I decided to post it anyway. I didn't want you guys to think I was a copycat, lol.

Very nice--composition and POV are great. Excellent modelling on the bridge too.

So well put together. The modeling of the brige is fantastic. The B&W is great but might I suggest a bit of sepia tone to really bring out some detail in the stucture. Excellent!

B&W is soooo under rated, looks great, glad your dry spel is over.

The b/w actually works out pretty well for the pic - gives it an "old-time" sort of look to me.
GROINGRINDER
It is an excellent pic. I love the point of view too.

Dig it! Only the wake loks a bit too clean, but it might look that way in real life, too!

Have to agree the b/w gives it an old timey look and the sense of scale is awesome.

This is great Dan makes me think of Thunderbirds are Go. lol 8)

Lol, Catlin, yes I still remember those great Gerry Anderson produced "childrens" series such as "Supercar", "Fireball XL5", and of course "Thunderbirds are Go"!! (I still watch them if they show them on the "Telly") I loved the elaborate models and background scenes which they often blew-up, or set on fire, which is of course a lot of fun to watch! Lol, maybe I should re-post this scene with lots of mass-destruction and other mayhem thrown in for fun!

A innovative idea and concept executed very well...
kjer_99
A very fine concept well executed. I agree with lgp692000, that a sepia tone might make it even finer.
UVDan
I totally agree with GROINGRINDER.
