Description
As you may have heard, on Saturday, Nov. 15th, 2003, there have been two despicable terrorist attacks carried out against two synagogues in Istanbul. 24 people died. The anguish is not for them, for surely they are at a better place by now. It is for myself, because I have to watch the depths humanity has sunk to, watch the senseless cruelty, the mindless killings, and listen to crazed psychopaths screaming that it is all in the name of God. Theirs must be a strange god indeed, to revel in the destruction of what He Himself has created...

Very beautiful image, Lale! Also a very strong and powerful statement. None of us can truely realize the depths of evil that men's minds are turned to.
