Hi all folks :) after a few time with no livesign from me..here an work from me that was for an contest...but the contest were cancelled because of too poor activities :( the hardest work for me was to remap and new texturing of the tomb...i have converted it from Poser to Vue and to build the outdoor-scene so realistic...it was like building a nature behind an microscope..lol.... feel free with any comment, rating and helpful hints yours Asturiano Credits: egyptian tomb 2 by evanara

thank you very much for your comments :) it makes me happy...if the contest wouldnt be made..but your comments help me to feel proud of the many hours i have spend for this image... @erka @dlk30341 yes, you are right ;-) first i have created the scene with the lovers....but working on the image..i have noticed..that i have spend much more time to build the outdoor-scene as the indoor-scene...the light was hard for me, because i am a lightning-newbie..indoor it was not so a problem..positioning of the 24 lights for shadows and lightning was not so hard..but for the volumetric light from outdoor to indoor i have spend a lot of hours..and growing up for about 20 or more white hairs more in my hair...becuase to find the position from the light and the intense was hard for me...sometimes at positioning the doors have been iluminated good..but i cant see the outdoor-scene, because it was too bright the light, otherwise..if the outdoorscene was good seeing...nothing illumination was seen in the part of the door.. i hope you understand my poor enlish..lol lg Asturiano

I cannot tell you how mesmerised I was by this picture it brought tears to my eyes. I spend hours playing Cleopatra on the computer and this has brought that game to life. I LOVE THIS PICTURE. You can tell from your attention to detail that you have spent a lot of time getting things just right. Lighting IS difficult but you know when you've got it right! I have to check out Vue D'esprit it looks awesome. GOOD JOB!

All that effort you put in has certainly paid off - especially your struggle with the contrasting lighting! Excellent work.

Beautiful image. The light streaming through the door, the rich colours and the detail out the door are all terrific. Very well done.

You did a great job on this one! Like the others I like the light flowing through the door. Like twisted noodle said one can see that you've spent a lot of time to get the lightning look right. The contrast between the dead pharao and the birght light is very well choosen. For me it symbolises hope. After every ending there's a new beginning... Well, done!
