Nice picture. Over the last two springs we've had HUGE rookeries nesting at work of at least 5 different kinds of egrets/herons, including blue herons like this one. Some of them are still hanging on round now (since it's still 75+ degrees its not exactly feeling like Fall yet) Personally I think that the snowy egrets have the most wonderful plumage. I'll see if I can find some of my pics of them..
