Maybe glued to the ground? Strange - 46 white and one colored kid. Would be great to see the stroy behind the scene.

I agree with Wabe - I would love to know the story behind this picture - also your wedding photo - what happened to these people now lost in time. Another excellent photo! What year would you guess?

I would guess early 1900's or maybe even 1890. What's interesting is that the black child is there at all! Of course....I'm thinking America, where you wouldn't expect to see a black person (child or otherwise) intermingled with whites at all.....except maybe on the frontier....and this could well be on the frontier by the look of it.

Very interesting shot. Some of the kids were good and stayed still while others have blurry faces so obviously they couldn't stay put for a minute or two. Typical of kiddies. lol I am also very intrigued by that black child.
