What a beauty! Great shot, love the bridge over the tracks too.

Hello garnite, Thank you. The engine belongs to the West Somerset Railway. "The West Somerset Railway recaptures the era of the branch line country railway in the days of steam. Enjoy 20 miles of glorious Somerset scenery as the train gently rolls back the years on its journey beside the Quantock Hills to the Bristol Channel coast." I love to see these old engines, too. The station is owned by the private railway and preserved as it would have been in the days before diesel trains. Bye, Tuppence.

Looks like a former LMS tank with the unicycling lion logo. Great shot! The station and surrouding details are great.
Tuppence
Hello weesel, Thank you. You obviously know more about engines than I do! I have some more photos of others and will post them later. Bye, Tuppence.

Brings me under steam this one, childhood-thoughts too!
Tuppence
Hello PapaGuru, Certainly brings back the memories! Bye, Tuppence.
ShadowWind
Got to love those old steam trains. Great historic shot...
Tuppence
Hello ShadowWind - thank you. I found out that the engine is a "Standard Tank", 4MT (mixed traffic). Must be the same sort as Thomas the Tank Engine! Bye, Tuppence.
