Why not add a desktop lamp with light coming out of it? That would be pretty cool...Also, everything is kinda smooth. Try adding some bump maps here and there. Keep it up! I'd love to see the final render. Oh, and how bout' a picture frame with a loved one somewhere on the desk?...

I agree with DigitalAtrocity. I miss some bumpmaps butI like the composition much! Perhaps you could also UV-map the chair a bit better?

Looks like the scen is complete..just one minor critic: You need to fix the mapping of the texture of the chair. There is a visible seam. And the render is'nt that great. If you have the possibility, render it with radiosity or something. G.I. or HDRI will liven up your image. Keep up the good work, Greets! Pat.
