Aww HUGE HUGZ Im sorry you had to go to ER Leah! I hate the hospital with a passion & refuse to go unless Im on my death bed! It doesnt seem to matter what time you go, you always have to wait forever. Its really BS! Im not much on respecting USA Dr's because they are so F***&%# money hungry, thats all they think of, not of the ill! I hope you will feel better Hun!! HUGE HUGZ

I'm sorry you had such a dreadful day and I hope you're feeling much better. I love the picture, it's incredibly expressive, very funny and also beautifully surreal. Take care xxxx

Sorry you had a horrible day. Good luck quitting smoking too.

LOL!! I'm sorry your day was so horrible, but I'm so greatful for your wonderful sense of humor!!!! I HATE HOSPITALS!!! That anti-smoking poster on the wall is about the funniest thing I've ever seen!!!!!! You're the greatest!! Excellent image!!!!

I feel for you Leah... Our daughter has tonslietis(or however you spell it) and the doctor at the clinic was a complete ass! He wouldn't listen to a word Shelley said and barely even examined Bree! Too many doctors have the corporite mentality :( Great pic btw :))

feel better keep going AND QUIT SMOKING NOW !!!!
Jonasw64
Hope your better now...after the smoke :) I have - thank god - no experiences in US (?) hospitals....but nowhere in the world this are nice places to go to... At least in your pic they are allowing smoking and pets..:) Beside: Great, great, great Job on this picture!!!!Excellent with all these details..

Bottom line is.....QUIT... I smoked for 28 years I am 40 now and I quite Dec 31 01 and I am now an EX-SMOKER I feel better I have more energy and I have saved Thousands of Dollars and I havent had a Cold or flu since,My food tastes better I love the smell of things that I had'nt smelled in years due to the effects of Cigarette smoke...QUIT I used Tic Tacs(Breath Mints)I would pop one every time I wanted a cigarette and then i would go and due something so my Hands and fingers would have something to do instaead of holding and flicking a cigarette...It is the hardest thing I did other then when I quit Drinking Alcohol 5 years ago...You can do it just find something you love to do and do it everytime you want a smoke....
ilona
I hope you are feeling better hun.. and I agree with foley.. QUIT.. I am praying for you! Apart of this.. its a hell os a complex scene and you did it so perfectly! Wonderful Leah!

If you continue to smoke, you will likely die someday in the future. Willfully inhaling poison makes no sense to me. I kkow someone who was able to quit after going through hypnosis and hasn't touched a cig in 13 years. I am married to her, so I know what I am talking about. It can be tough to quit, but there is help available if you want to take the step and make the commitment. Take care of youself. I would choose another hospital though, rabbit pellets under the bed can make you worse sick ! A well composed inmage.

Great job Leah...and I know what you mean about the ER..they are very busy. I stopped smoking cigarettes when they got to be to high in price and now smoke a pipe! ( not in public but at home when I am on the computer) I have a pretty pink pipe and love Prince Albert tobacco. Hope you feel better soon. Hugs....
RnRWoman
Aww, sorry to hear you had a rough day! Hope you're feeling better soon!
simdragon
Hey, I'm with you on the trying to quit! Been there, doing it again. It's hard when you actually like to smoke to quit! Good luck, keep us updated on how you're doing.

Oooooooo, nasty mood! I have never had a visit to the ER that was fun! And I used to be a nurse in one many years ago! I finaly stoped smoking 1/2/03. Sure I was coughing and wheezing, but I stoped because it cost too much! I moved away from the friends that did smoke, and when I visit, sure, I'll have one of theirs, I'm not a quiter! LOL! Hope your better now! Hugs!

Sorry to hear about this. Been there, done that too. I had to keep sneaking outside in the COLD night air for a smoke though...and I ended up being there for about 5 hours total. Nice representation of your mood, but I have to say, on a purely non-pc and utterly sexist note, if you looked THAT hot I can't believe a doctor or three didn't jump at the chance to see you. ~grins~

Excellent work....!!! the cigarette believes that it is not taken too well with the health, but without doubts you had gotten an interesting visual effect...!!!
Tamariss
That was scary!!

Asthma is a miserable thing, and I'm sorry you have to deal with it, especially in a crowded ER. Love this picture sweety but you better try real hard to kick the cigarette habit. My Mom has been trying to get off the cigarettes for 2 years with those patches, but everytime she stops the patches, she's back on the cigs. Looks like she will have to wear them for the rest of her life, she has Emphazema. Anyway, I love all your work. :)
Armorbeast
Agree with Stormi,my mother developed lung cancer from smoking and is now in the battle of her life!Chemo isn't pleasant, but even now she continues to smoke cause that damn cigarette demon has such a strong hold on her soul!!!She may be able to face death with a cigarette in her hand, but the rest of us have to deal with the consequences and watch her go through this.Thats the most insideous thing about this...cigarettes get such a strong hold on you that you don't care about the ones who love you and don't see what you do to them!!!From smoking in bed where you risk killing everyone in a fire,to blowing second hand smoke in their faces and finally tearing them apart watching you die...that demon in your soul just doesn't allow you to care about the ones around you and makes you very self centered.I hope my mother survives this and I hope your own health improves Leah...but that damn demon needs to be exorcised before it claims you like it might do my mother and did do to my father:(Lol,even the look on your girls face says "what the hell you lookin at" and I love that no smoking sign...how about uploading it for us?

Crap!I came to look at your image and now all of this is haunting me!Shit-I need a ciggy to calm myself?Oh bolloks !lol! What do we do hey!Ive been smoking since 14 and am now 32!I think id better quit-if only I could!!Maybe being somewhere other like the moon may help!I note as I get older the meaning of opthers comments tend to stick more-have a heavier weight~like the tar on my throat!I wonder if Im fine inside I used to say?I had a mri for a neck injury and show fine so I feel as if I can go on more!Im off for a cig and will forget all of this for now!We all do this untill we are really ready or we will never be?!Byeeeeeeeeee calum

Asthma AND you smoke?? Oooo please, dear Leah, do just go "cold turkey" and quit! We can't do without you!! Love your expressing your mood... oooo sick kiddies, I would have fled! :/
mahler
I have always loved your works. You are so airy, romantic and Pre-Raphaelite in your approach...and then you catch me off-guard with this bit of hilarious realism. Thanks! I love it!
