Description

Church by Benettor Houses and animals from Vue 4 Just playing with textures and light, what I wanted was doing a picture of a small village in the mountains with my favourite church. I'm no good at doing mountains - but having seen a real one only twice in my life is the best excuse I can come up with! :-)

My only crit is that the shadows seem to dense, there'd be more fill from the sky I think, scene and models are outstanding.

I concur with your own judgement that sadly the mountains don't do the rest of the scene justice - but for the rest: a very nicely composed and rendered village scene. I think it would be worth popping along to your local library and getting a couple of travel books with mountain photography and having a little play at simulating those in Vue. A better montane backdrop would lift this otherwise fine image considerably.
