Description
I noticed while looking at some art pages recently and noticed that loads of people like to draw horses. "hhmm" I thought "there must be a reason for this." so I started sketching horses, here is one of those sketches that I developed a bit further. any advice on how I can improve on it would be great as I've never really had anything to do with horses an I dont really know if this is accurate!

I always thought drawing horses was like drawing hands -- it's freakin' hard! laughs. I always take the easy way out, poser. Can't help you out on advice.. but you've done really well. You can tell it's a horse straight away, so that helps. ;) Love your brushwork.

Nicely Done!

It's a gorgeous picture, and i could never draw this 2D :) I did notice however, that the hip/abdoment grion area should probably be a little thinner, unless your horse is in foal :D

Exquisite!! This is a gorgeous painting of a horse...I can feel his spirit!

Wonderful for the first attempt! The hip area does look a tad too high maybe?

Beautiful fluid style, really suits the subject. I'm no expert but the anatomy looks good to me!

Horses just gotta be done because they're so beautiful and so complex. Nice work on this!

the style is very pretty, but it's a little chubby. I think part of that is the highlight on the belly is too extreme. I like it's face though, it's really cute
