Description

================================================= The musicians' Sacred patron Cecilia whose onomastic it is November 22, a Roman patrician that dedicated her life to Christ and the works was of well, she lived in the century III of our era. For their strong Christian convictions it was condemned to die as they count the records of the disclosed martyrdom later some centuries. It was condemned to die locked in a room of heating of the old Roman bathrooms, but like he/she took in dying the they beheaded. Its relationship with the music owes herself apparently that she executed the harp, it represents it to him playing the organ or the cello. It was chosen in 1584 as employer of the music by the Academy of Music of Rome, from then on the choirs, orchestras, bands and singers celebrate their party. This is my homage to all the colleagues and friends musicians, in this allegory I represent the saint and the musical instruments. She is much prettier than Nero and nicer too. Perhaps it is that controversy about when fiddles were invented that has so degraded Nero's image.

Great image Rodolfo!! though not all artists here are musicians many of them are inspired by music while creating their visual art. Music definately is one of the arts that gives best expression to emotion.
