Description

I guess I would have named this one differently, if I had gone for the coloured version in the beginning...
I still believe the textures come out better in the sepia-version, but as some of you said they'd like to see it in colours - here you go :-)

Yep, they are both great. That small dots of red from the fallen leaves, some green from the moss on the trees and the foliage in the back do add a lot to me, even if the "feeling" is somewhat better in the sepia-version. Thanks for letting us see this one too Drea! hugz

This is a beautiful shot with great colours & texture. Almost looks like you picked up all the elements & placed them just perfectly.

I really like this in color, it's beautiful, reminds me of when I was a kid I use to love walking through the woods and walking or sitting on these fallen trees. Thank you for sharing. :)

Wow, this is much much more... more! The textures look greate and colors add so much with them... I will never understand how it is possible to make a shot with such tremendous colors and wanting to hind them behind sepia tone... for colors are the essense of life! :-)

Ahh, but Serious, photography is an abstract art form to begin with. It's two dimensional. Why not make it even more abstract by using B&W or sepia tones? Then the essense of the form is accentuated even more. The eye is then drawn to the light and shadow play that one can easily miss when distracted by the colours. Drea, it's still a beautiful image but I much prefer the sepia version. :-)
