Description

-= The Old Pharmacy =- --- Hi, I'm glad to put this image in my gallery today. This is part of a whole medieval street scene I'm creating and which will be modelled by me in the next months. The Old Pharmacy is the main building of the scene. Modelling in SketchUp took about 40 hours in the last four weeks. It was such a fun to create this model! --- Thank you to all the users at the Renderosity Bryce forum, at www.pinguhuhn.de and www.foren-hotel.de for supporting me. This model will be released shortly as a freebie for all of you. Watch out for the next builings I create to complete the street scene. :-) Comments and critics are very welcome - thank you! Take Care, Jimi

wow...cool job. think 40 hours isn't very long to do that. just miss some reflections on the glass. think this will come with your final scene. :-)

Hey, this is fantastic!!! Great detail. Just one observation: Make it look old. You have beautiful detail and textures. But it looks too new. Make it look 500 years old. The wood bracings would be warped and sagging from weathering and age, most of the windows would be out of true. The stone textures look great, but need to be aged and weathered as well. They need a little mold, chipping on the edges, and some discoloration as some stones that might have been replaced would be different in color. Your attention to detail is commendable, you just need to take it one more step. Remember: Research, research, research...

I was a little bit inspired by the town hall of Alsen, Germany. But this is no 1:1 copy of it.
