BIOBorn 1973 and living in Germany, I never did anything creative before in my life until I started working with Bryce and PaintShopPro in February 2002. With the power of these digital tools I'm now able to explore and express myself in a way I never dreamt of.
The help and feedback from the Renderosity commune enabled me to develop my skills in the last months. Using many different styles and techniques to create my works, there is no special style I prefer, but architectual works are what I like the most today. And of course, Woodies are important for me - can't get them out of my head. ;-)
Since July '02 I've taken my first modelling steps. I'm glad that I am able to give some freebie models back to the community which helped me so very much.
I'm looking forward to a great and creative time at Renderosity.
Take Care,
Der Jimi

Hey, this is fantastic!!! Great detail. Just one observation: Make it look old. You have beautiful detail and textures. But it looks too new. Make it look 500 years old. The wood bracings would be warped and sagging from weathering and age, most of the windows would be out of true. The stone textures look great, but need to be aged and weathered as well. They need a little mold, chipping on the edges, and some discoloration as some stones that might have been replaced would be different in color. Your attention to detail is commendable, you just need to take it one more step. Remember: Research, research, research...

I was a little bit inspired by the town hall of Alsen, Germany. But this is no 1:1 copy of it.
