I was born in Tunbridge Wells in 1973 and I've been Disgusted ever since.
I've been living in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England since 2001, when I met my ex-husband. I now live with my son and my mother has also moved in with us recently. The heads of the household are our two cats, Sarah and Scamps.
I write. I make pictures. I won't call myself an artist, because 99% of the things I create aren't art. But I keep trying, searching to make something meaningful. I love music but have no talent for it myself. I work full time, so the pursuit of art happens when I have time for it.
Between 2004 and 2009 I was a coordinator, then a moderator and then a site admin at Renderosity. External circumstances forced me to resign that position in late 2009, but I remain a Marketplace tester.
You can also visit my personal website, Forgotten Worlds and check out all my freebies there. That's about it. You can also read my blog but be warned, I swear like a dockworker ;-)

Totally agree with Dr-b! Very intense and the artwork is wonderful. Very special because of the eyes-effect. ~Saskia~

Sympathy, impathy and name the man... I would willingly have more than just words for such as he. All men are not like that. Do not forget, it is your heart which has been broken, but you still have life. I'll wager the courage it took to render such an image, speaks volumes about whom you are. May the sun shine forever on the only path I wish for you. The path to true happiness for the rest of your life.

Very touching words! I know what it's like to have such bad childhood. It's something you never forget, whatever you do, it's carved into your soul! The image is beautiful, a real look trough the victim's eyes. Well done!

One of the often quoted purposes of art is to stir the emotions and provoke a response. I'd say this piece counts as art, by that critera. It's a brilliantly thought out piece, very well done. As for the reason behind the picture, I don't have the words to say what I feel.
