Cute squirrel, great shot!  But to answer the question that seems to have popped up, black squirrels are somewhat rare but not in the way you might think:  they seem to be a separate breed, and in some places -- the city of Port Huron, Michigan (USA), for example -- they are the dominant breed and brown squirrels are the rarity.

Here the awswer. Black squirrel are not rare in CANADA. It's not the lighting of the picture. It's realy a back squirrel. We can also foud grey suqirrel too. !!!:O)!!!

Our squirrels over here are all brown. But then with this beautiful background you probably wouldn't see it at all :-) This cute guy just knew how to pose for a perfect shot!

Thank you very much for all your comment all. I realy appreciate. And yeah, it's hard to get detail on little black animal like this. Also, they are so scared when you try to get closer to them :P. I was at 10 feet from that squirrel. I was lucky.
