Description

This whole thing was probably a dumb idea, but, if you were an editor/agent, and a writer added a postcard with this cartoon to her otherwise unfortunately pretty generic thank you note (there just isn't a lot you can say when thanking someone for rejecting you, you know?) would you be amused? "Dying is easy, Humor is *hard*"

LOL!! I greatly resemble one of those dragons (I'm not admitting which one). I don't think it is dumb at all...I think it's great fun.

I think it's quite funny, but I don't understand why the dragon is sneezing and I haven't a clue what a slush pile is. It would certainly make you more memorable:-)

A thank you note for a rejection letter? Hmm... never thought of that. A slush pile is the pile of unsolicited submissions nearly all editorial staffs receive. I like the cartoon, lavender. It made me smile. Still not sure about a thank you note. ;-)
