It's been so warm here, my marigolds continue to bloom. I caught this one as it prepared to unfurl. :)

Wow, I have never seen a flower in this configuration. Very interesting picture. And I wish it was warmer here (Northern California).

Reminds Me of a Fungi I used to liiiiiiiiiiiiiick...I am gonna keep close watch on my Marigolds after seeing this....sigh...sniff....aaaaaaaaah!

It reminds me a little of marzipan :-) Lucky you, flowers still, here in Sweden there is nothing of that kind.

I have never seen that state of a marigold. You are giving me a really priviledged look. Has a spontaneous sense of surprise bloom.

I haven't ever seen merigolds, but this shot of them before they have bloomed is very cool, love the depth of field. Excellent!

Warm ?! :| - You are so lucky. Here in Canada is like minus 5-10 :S. Beautiful shot. Nice color and like papaGuru said, if you didn't tell me, i never would have guessed this was a marigold Thx for sharing.
