Nice test. You may need to work the surfaces more, and give water some "sortasurf", it looks too still i think.

Nice pov and concept. Terrain looks a little unreal - but great for somebody new!

It's a good start. Now you just need to experiment a lot. Try all the different settings, and learn what they do.
