Description

I'm a Disney junkie. I'm up at Disneyland about once a month, and over to DisneyWorld as often as time and finances permit. In order to get this shot, I had to take the People Mover several times and shoot as I went past Space Mountain (until I got a shot I liked). The only other alternative was convincing someone to let me go where no mere tourist is allowed (and since I was a mere tourist on this trip -- fie on my sister for quitting her job as Pluto) I had to settle for a People Mover platform.

People Mover?!?! You need to get your film developed more frequently!!! I manage to use my Disneyland pass only about once every two to three months but then...I live in Colorado. Cool pic. You should see if you can get a comparative one with the new paint job and then another when they re-open SM in 2005.

Actually, this was taken in DisneyWorld, so the People Mover is still there and the mountain was still white (as of this last April). However, it would be interesting to get a comparable shot of the mountain in Disneyland.

Intriguing shot. I remember phoning my 9 year old from up north after his trip there. His big accomplishment was that he'd gone through space mountain three times and only cried twice. Must be quite a ride.

Yeah, they wrecked Space Mountain's great photo view by putting in the two story Tomorrowland Arcade, but I think you got a great shot anyway. I am a Disney junkie as well (mostly Disney Wprld, never been to Disneyland). We go there quite a bit. I've been really enjoying your series of images from the parks...

HA!! Well get ready for a few more. I spent two weeks at Disney World this spring and I took a whole lot of photos (some more cliched than others ... but hey).
