Description
My November 2D theme submition.
Im playing with a new style (new to me), or rather than taking an image and manipulating it, I use an image for reference, and I apply basic solids, as if I were literally painting. Im also starting to focus on the graphic design (type and placement) aspects of my pieces as well. This PS7 "painting" is Selene from the movie UnderWorld. I might be doing more of her and other characters if time permits.

doing good //look like he moves on a slow speed film or moves so fast that our eyes cannot focus

the effect out of it is very hectic, yet someway delicate due to the floating transparency. Dunno how it really fits the theme, but it's for sure a very beautiful artwork, independently from the chiaroscuro criteria.

i do like the soft blurred treatment, also the graphic celtic design, "underworld" looks good but the font under that might be better in a darker color :]

Like the image very much, soft and in motion in an undescribable way. About the design I agree with Cyn, the white fonts stick out to much, the rest is just good, I like how the blue in the "underworld" match the faint blue in the figure.

I actually think this fits the theme better than a few of the other postings.

Very cool. I like the "blurred" aspect that hints but doesn't reveal everything. There is both silence and movement, and a sense of mystery.

I'm studying design in school.. and layout and type face.. the whole "Graphic Design" part, just digitally. It's going to take 18 long months, but It's fun. Awesome work! I'd like to know how you did it!
