Description
Another design I had last night some time after looking up a few video games and what not so I contribute the original back half to Eve something something. Not sure, looked like crap but hey, I'm too picky bout games lately. Though I work at a game store so, I see alot of games.
NEWAYS!! Finished it today, lighting sucks, materials didn't work out very good, etc etc. But wanted to show what I got so far with it. Probably won't do much more on it. Give me about a few days at the most and it'll be for sale on my site for about $3.50 for the .3ds file and $15.00 for the Rhino v2 .3dm file.

First: I like the model very much, cought my eye. But some technical critics. The concept of using sails as a spacedrive is quite old, it has been used in literature(e.g Jack Vance "Sail 17") and it has been calculated by physics how a thing like that would have to look. Since the spacecraft uses the particles emmitted by the sun to accellerate the sail would have to be several squaremiles large and just a fiew micrometers thick to propell just a tiny payload. I try to give my models a "would it work look" cause i think it adds to realism, but then again sometimes its a great advantage having a mind free of "Physical borders" lol Anyway .. nice work

I like it. We have to remember this is an art site, not a science site. So pushing art past the limits of science is just being creative and should be welcomed. I doubt any of my models would work in the real word. But in my world, anything goes.
