Description

This is my first underwater scene. I don't know if it qualifies as fantasy but, oh well. Any helpful advice is welcome. Credits to Bryce and Poser

Hi, "tynana" There is no doubt about it, you feel that you are under water. You've done a fine job and succeeded very well indeed. The only thing that I could say is the terrene mat., color maybe solid rock instead of green. This is a matter of personnal choice has nothing to do with the design itself. (trust you know what I mean) It's an Excellent piece!!

Thanks "coolcatcom" I thought about solid rock and I was being lazy and didn't feel like rendering again. (I'm impatient sometimes) I'm glad you noticed the hills were green. HEHE! :)

I'll just assume it is algae on the rocks and say wonderful job! Broken statue is a nice touch!

This is excellent! Water is a very difficult medium to work with and underwater is particularly difficult but you have achieved it superbly. The light refraction(reflection? I am never sure which is which) is perfect and the blue and green make for a vivid and lovely blend of inviting color. The statue adds the right touch.Very impressive and beautiful.A big vote!

The scene is stunning and quite well done, with just the right touch of murkiness. My only suggestion might be just a hair more caustics on the ground, but that might be just me. Certainly does well portraying the underwater environment without it. Excellent work...

I think this is a great concept and quite brave to attempt. I know nothing about Bryce but I think this is a very beautiful and inviting scene.

I love this idea...and you have the patience of a saint to wait for all of the water to render!! A+
