I'm 2D/3D artist (learning A|W Maya now) from Czech Republic (Central Europe). I also play on guitar, study FAV university in Pilsen and ocasionally i create webdesign and programming (PHP, Oracle, MSVC C++, Java...). And I love music, yeah :)BIOI used to work in 3D Studio R4 (yeah ... DOS version) a years ago (in my 16?) and then switch to 2D graphics to learn Photoshop and webdesign basics. When i study in university i have to programming most of time to make hard exams here and i began with guitar playing. I had a very little of free time and so I couldn't improve my graphics skills. And today? In my 22 I'm looking forward to take a job in a some 3D/2D/(web)Design studio and i make a decision to learn Adobe Photoshop and A|W Maya at professional skills.

pretty cool, although personaly i would have made each part of the ant as a individual bits and coverd the join with membranes (as in real life) just to give more realism if he ever gets animated...but thats just me. still its a damn fine bit of modelling, well done..

It is not a final image, only preview (modelling stage one - CPS MEL script). Because of that everything is symmetrical. In stage two i will convert it to SubDs and then add more details (yes, membranes and more). After that i'll go to texturing and lightning process and finnaly i'll make pose (plan turn head back) and final camera rendering ... and ... sorry for my bad English :)
