and you shall rise
angel of the holocaust.
Bathed in tormented night
retribution on the horizon
moving into morning light
death is the only highway
to afterlife
begging as you did
for a single unfragmented moment
such as this.
No one heard,
and they did not understand
and they could not see
the lines
the tracks
the life.
Rise up all the earth.

I don't know how I could have missed this before, but I'm commenting now - better late than never, huh? You know, Syyd, I love all your work... but this, this must be my favourite of all your works so far. The colours, the pose, the facial expression - it all builds an incredible piece of artwork which speaks to me on a level I can't quite understand... It's hard to try to put it all into words, I'm just in awe here... Fantastic, dear... just fantastic.
