Description

This picture is very important to me, because I plan to get it printed, and present framed copies to my mother and brother for Christmas. I'm really going for a print quality image here, and I like it so far, but it's not there yet. I'm not quite sure what it's lacking. Maybe I need to put some fairies in the scene, flying around, playing or something. Hmm, Please comment and give me a suggestion. Even if you think I should just make it a little darker, or add some contrast, definitely mention it. Thanks! Pen, Bryce (Under all the postwork ;), and Photoshop.

Maybe a few sparkles? I don't know, but I think it looks awesome as is! Would love to see the tree-creature a little closer, but it really is a great image as is. They'll be proud to receive it! Very thoughtful of you!

I think your mother and brother are very lucky to be recieving such an amazing piece of art for Christmas. My only suggestion would be to consider moving your signature to one of the far corners of the image.

I was thinking maybe I'd put the sig in the bottom right corner, because I put a few more bushes in that area than I wanted -_- When you're posting online, though, you want to put your sig in an area that's difficult to crop out ;) Oh, also, I just updated this picture with a lense flair. Tell me if you think it fits. Thanks Y'all

Very creative .If you really think something is missing I would agree with Webmaster, maybe just add a few sparkles to liven it up a touch. I think your family will be thrilled reguardless.

Wow this is an excellent work, i'm not sure i like the chipped look in the reflections but probably has to do in how the water or wind is moving, still a beautiful work and going to my favorites :)

the halo sort of distracts from the tree spirit but it an awesome piece of art and I think your family would be very grateful. thanks for sharing your work

I think this is a wonderful piece of work. My only little nitpick would be the razor edged reflections...but different artists see things in different ways. You did a fine job. -jay

I agree with yesitis about the halo/lens flare. The light beams are a very nice touch, but the halo somehow distracts from the main figure. I also would put the sign/logo on the left or right lower corner. While speaking about fairies...how bout adding two of these little flutters hwo spread some fairy-dust over the water while being watched by the Ent. Just my two cents. :)

Beautiful work. I thinhk it would be nice to add a bit of light breaking through from the background. Also a few goldfish or some orange in the water wouls really help pull together the image. Lose the lense flare but keep the lightrays. I would also like to see some nice sowft flowers on the bank. Maybe a lylac and yellow combination. And maybe less reflective water so we can see a bit of the lake bed. By far one of my favorites next to mr. creepy.
