Description


Captain Garth issues his first orders as the commanding officer of the new Constitution class heavy cruiser. The shakedown personnel have been replaced by the regular complement of 400 crew members. Navigator Andrea Styles, Helmsman Gregory Marshall, and Exec and Science officer Selak look on as the ship departs Star Fleet Command Headquarters for a five year tour of duty. Very authentic! In case people have not caught it, RG19 changed the base colors and textures to capture the look from the first pilot, "The Cage". The color scheme was much more believable then, muted blues, garys and blacks. However, since color televisions were the new innovation at the time, the networks demanded bright, primary colors to showcase the new imaging technology. Wait, pirate hooks serving as the gooseneck viewers?! Damned clever! All in all, a very pleasing memorial for an extremely talented designer. Sincerely, Bill
