Description

This months Bryce challenge is "Midwinter Inspirations" and I thought that there was something inspiring, on a bleak midwinter day, in a nice family afternoon round a blazing log fire. Have a chat, read the paper, even have a snooze. Would Sir or Modom like a glass of wine? With the exception of the light fittings its all my own, mostly made in Bryce with just a few ornaments made in shapemagic.

Very nice scene and modeling. Isn't it wonderful how 3d rendering can take us wherever we want to go?

Ms Chohole! you make good pictures... Of course he is working on a plan to kill 'em all and run away with the dog and the butler. I can't help it, it's the Ruth Rendell in me :))) Worth the 20 hour render...

It's looking much better ... but could you work your firelight a touch more so that the little drama playing itself out in the middle of the room (with the dog, cat and ??) is more easily seen?? I think that could be a highlight of your scene, but it's still too flat.

Looking great. The shadows have really helped. Subtle but grounded everything. Good luck with the challenge.

way to go! Stunning job. My only complaint would be there are too many busy patterns in the textures. Cool fainting couch. I would love to have one. Fainting seems to have been fairly popular at one time.
