Description


This is my first render with 3D Studio Max and this is how "it happend": - worked through three small "bloody-beginners" tutorials ( the ones provided with Max ) - decided to start my first "without any tutorials help"-experiment - modelled a pawn ( spline / lathe / this was easy ) - fought my way through the material editor ( i still sweat ) - we have a rusty pawn.... nice.... - created a floor ( plane ) and again, had a quick and dirty fight with the material editor ( is this really blood on my nose ? ) - created two walls -> same thing like the floor-plane - cloned the first pawn ( anybody needs a friend, even old rusty useless pawns ) - created a light ( one single "omni" ) and played with it a little bit ( yes, i love volumetric light ) - created a camera - played around with a few more details ( positions of the pawns / light / camera / viewpoint.... ) - rendered - decided "this one

Textures you used were good choices. Very somber atmosphere and good lighting. I like it a lot.
