Description
I got bored one night and decided to model some speakers. I used autocad 2004 for the modelling (about 2 hours) and bryce for the renders. The radiosity effect in the top image was created by combining One blurry shadows light with a full ambient hdri dome and several non shadow casting omnis set to various colors positioned around the object randomly. The image was rendered using true ambience and 256rpp...a 35 hour render.. ugh.
Comment if you can; thanks for taking a look.

The modeling is great no doubt. Nice detail! But 35 hours just to render "fake" GI/radiosity? YIKES. I'll stick with 3DS and vray or brazil. Usually less than 10 min for true HDRI and GI. ;-) But a very cool render nontheless... you have the patience of a saint! hehe.

Quick! someone patch SIR Richard, he's sprung a leak! Yes Orlu, you do have the patience of a saint, and the imagination of a mad-scientist. Great renders both.

Awesome. I'll take six, just to irritate my neighbors. Excellent job on the modelling and texturing. They look just as they should.

Well, I let it render on the laptop in a drawer. Probably would have been faster with the desktop. Thanks for the feedback guys.
