What a lot of work! Very nicely done. Would you want to warm it up a bit with another lamp light source in another part of the room? Some major room focus, like a fireplace or a modern sculpture might be interesting. Nice POV too! :-)

Aye, it's a wonderful render so far, I'm impressed by how sweet and soft the lighting is! Great work, can't wait to see the finished one. Perhaps just make the lamp a bit taller?

The lamp looks fine. I like it a lot. As suggested previously, perhaps another lamp with soft glow would warm it up further, but that's optional since the image looks very good so far. One thing that seems out of place is the smoke. Looks a little to "hard" or rigid. Maybe try making it a little more whispy and spread out with more transparency. Also, there's something about the table... notice how the wood beam on the left hand side under the glass doesn't quite look right... almost like an abstract object. Perhaps adjust the refraction value of the glass to correct this a little bit. Table top glass usually doesn't have a high refraction to it, and doesn't usually distort visibility that much. Otherwise, really coming out to be a great image. Good work!!

I don't really like the smoke - I think its too unnatural. Love the lounge and tiles and YOU'VE GOT AN ABBEY ROAD PICCY! GO SON!

I think there would be much more secondary illumination... what are your fR settings? Maybe up the bounces to 10 if you haven't already. Nice start, however.
