When taking a photo of a person which includes the face, especially a headshot, be sure to focus on the eyes. If the eyes are at all unclear, as they are here, the effectiveness is lost.

yes, the eyes should be the focuse point of reference. she was too close to the wall too. other than that you did a great job. she is gorgeous!!
