A coastal relic living in Campbell River, BC., rattling around the beaches and the bush. Hobbies are anything nautical, unsuccesful prospecting and treasure hunting, gardening and photography. Have built and operated 5 commercial salmon/log salvage boats, and still love playing with tools, and messing about in boats.BIO"I have often thought in all the world, The saddest thing to be; Old admirals that feel the wind, But never put to sea." Al Stewart, fron Past, Present, and Future. After a lifetime of fishing, beachcombing,(log salvage) and generally messing about, health issues have put me on the beach for good. You never completely get the salt water out of your veins, though. This gallery gives me a chance to fish some memories out of shoe boxes and share them, something that's rapidly becoming another hobby. I began fishing for money at age 11, 6 if you count trading rockcod for popsicles. I hope you enjoy my reminiscing.

As a Kid....I used to stand against the Wind...just like this....all the other Kid's would fall over....but, My Big Ears kept Me from Falling...the Seagulls liked Me, even though they crapped on Me...it brought Me Luck. I am too slow a Connection (not discussing My Private Life here) to receive a Video..,..Hugz....this is My sort of Scene!

This is sooo cool. Nature at play. Very relaxing to look at. I'll be thinking of it when I get my tooth crowned later this month. :)

as kids we used to tease Tedz about his ears. it was always great fun to be driving down the highway in the roadster and make him stick his head out the window. oh you should have seen those ears flapping in the wind! we almost lost little Tedz once because of wind shear though, so Gramps made us stop. although he never made us stop tying a rope 'round his wee waist and pulling him behind the roadster while he wore roller skates. but that's another story for another image. speaking of which, did i mention it's an awesome image?
