The crow is flying high again. I had never read this poem before but I like it. Somewhat similar in theme to Maya Angelou's poem about the caged bird v. the free bird, but Hugo is making the statement that we should be like the free bird, not fearing to alight in unfamiliar places because our spirits will always support us. Lovely sky, very bright and appropriate for the poem.
