I used three programs to create this animation,... Carrara Studio, Particle Illusion and Premiere. I suppose I can put together some type of tutorial soon.

Good work. I particularly like how you have the fragments interacting with the roof of the structure below. The trees, of course, aren't responding to the blast effect, but otherwise I don't see how you could improve on this.

I really should install my copy of particleIllusion and give it a try. Which version do you have?
