I think thats a photo compositing .If you can show a wireframe to proof the opposite i`m impressed ,especially of your texturingskills .

The dog is way too big, color, brightness and shadows are incorrect. The background was shot with a cheap digital camera (low resolution, extensive chromatic aberration, moire patterns left car, restricted dynamic range). Nothing in the image is a 3D model. Image lacks sharpness. Background of original dog image could have been removed in a better way. Bad composition (dog in center of image). i dont get it, what am i looking at? a 3d modeled dog? if so, WOW! or is this some image of a dog mapped to a 2d square with another image mapped to a background plane, if so, lah de freakin dah. thats what photoshop is for...

I understand the background is a photo. Show a wireframe of the dog. If you did model the dog in c4d, you did a damn good job. : )
