ESTRANO! I watched Peter Greenaways film The Pillow Book last night and this image has come alive for me. I wonder how many folks feel that they can write themselves / make their mark on the electronic nothingness of cyberspace? by which I mean, can Bryce feel and respond to the actions of the artist interfacing with it?.....I have my ideas on this subject... but hesitate!...The relationships of shadow cast on a two ,dimensional ground - shadow reflected on the two dimensional surface of the three dimensional sphere - the reflecting cypher of the reflected shadow interfacing with the three dimensional objects - the defining of the position of the three dimensional objects by the shadows cast on the two dimensional surfaces.....do you get the gist?....yep!.. it looks soo! simple at first, start to think about it and the brain begins to reel. I like this image because it speaks to me about the inner life Bryce has beyond it's supposed primary purpose of being a landscape generator, we know better. Real Good'n.
