I came up with the idea for the Valkyroids a few days ago, their going to be a new series of characters i'm going to do as I think them up, the name came from the word Valkyrie, which to my knowledge basicly means a female warrior, Valkryroids are that theme, with a twist, each one is a female-esq war machine, and each one has her own unique abilitys. In Thrusts case, she is the only one that can fly, and move and hypersonic velocitys, she's the weakest of them, but what she lacks in strength, she more than makes up for in agility and raw speed. The next one will either be called "Volt" or "Voltage", you can guess what her ability will be. =P That's it for the background info, now on to the technical end of this image. this only took about 6 hours to complete, mainly due to drawing it with mouse in FlashMX, then it was colored and effects, etc, were added in Photoshop6, she was basicly a test bed for new character style and shading method idea's i've been thinking about lately. Anyway, there it is.
