Rick my friend - your work never ceases to open my creative eye - that is to say, you awaken within me a love of peering much deeper into your work than that which is merely garnered from scanning the surface. This magnificently crafted image is ample proof that there is far more to that mind of yours than simple artwork. You inject a strong ambiance of raw power that demands an onlooker search deeper than what is visible on the surface, and that is a trait within your work that I deeply admire and respect. As a child, I can remember never being conscious of the passage of time, and could never understand why adults made such a big deal over what seemed to me to be eternity...lol. A truly gorgeous piece Rick!
