Great job on this one, Pendulum, it's very surreal and beautiful! Good to see you posting this one... I love the clouds, they look thick and puffy...

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. Glad you like it. The clouds are made by the volume presets in the materials presets :)

Hi all. The blue glow is a custom haze setting :) Glad you like it. The message I'm putting accross is hopefully illustrating my feelings and sensitivity to the future of our planet. I'm not a big-time greenie, however, but am very concious of the problems our planet faces. I try to tell a little story with every image :) Again many thanks for the comments :)

I concur with the above comments about the clouds and the fog. And I add that I really like your grass too. Any tips on doing that?

Hey there. The grass in the forground is a grass object that I managed to dig up somewhere off the net. You can also make a grass patch using any spline modeler like Carrara. The grass on the landscape down near the tree is actually a copy of the main terrain, with 'spikes' applied to the terrain, then I rubbed out parts of the terrain I didn't want to be covered in grass. I'll do a tutorial on this in the not too distant future.. Hope that helps.. Scott

Well done, Scott, though blue haze is not my favorite color ;) Your message is clear and sad. I like your work very much. I'd like to know your style... so would you be so kind to post something else? ;) Mirek :)

Hi Mirek, I actually have posted a new image into the Bryce forum here on the site. I couldn't post it in here today coz I already posted this one. You can only do 1 image every 24hrs. Check the forum, its called 'the First Rebirth' Scott

That's because our relationship with this planet is parasitic, it should be symbiotic. Just a lovely image though!! A sad reality...is your house made of wood?
