Description

This was an experiment when i was learnig to do boolean slices. The dolphins were free at 3DCAFE,i just arranged them in a flat plane and conformed to a cylinder, then sliced them with a flask i had previously made.Once the boolean was a success i deleted the parts i didn't need and on EACH remaining part selected all FACES and made a very descriptive subgroup name for later use.I then joined all objects and merged points where it helped and sharpened some edges with easy access to boundaries thru the sub group picker.Next was endlessly tweaked textures, both native and RJJ .itx's,it's lit from inside with a SoftShadow light and from outside with a No Shadow light. The stopper for the flask is a single poly (1 face triangle)assigned a dodecahedron particle and textured.

Excellent work, Bobby. I particularly like the Stopper- neat use of Particles (have you ever tried creating a Dodecahedron from scratch? Whew, is it difficult- impossible in the Forms Editor! Something else Imagine lacks, are the Platonic Solids- Tetrahedron, Cube, Iscosahedron, Dodecahedron etc- as Mathematical Primitives: like the Sphere.)
