***Quick update, lightened it a bit to bring out the details. Thanks for the comments!
An image that will be printed/framed as a X-mas gift for my girlfriend who grew up in San Jose, CA. and who misses Boulder Creek.
Composed and Rendered in Bryce with some post render texture and touchups in Photoshop.
Any comments and suggestions welcome!

Awesome trees! I tink the terrain texture could be a little more detailed, or maybe it's just bitmapped? The water looks great, very calm and realistic...

thanks for the comment SDL. I agree about the ground texture, and yeah, it's bitmapped. I'll play around with some different ones, maybe end up just covering more of the foreground up with bushes etc.
