It reminded me of the ice surface after a complicated figure-skating routine, the spiral of course what's produced by the 'death spiral' spin at the end.

Very intriguing! It definitely is a different kind of flame than the ones I am used to. I love its intricate design and the muted, earthtoned color. A classic - fractal art at its best - Congratulations!
