Description
After reading the comments written by frobozz and zandar (Thanks guys!) I decided to re-do my previous image - "Refreshing...".
I've been reading everything I can get my hands on about lighting and HDRI and this is the result. I hope you all like it.
100% rendered in max 5.1, no postwork.
Rendered on an Athlon 2400+XP with 1GB of RAM using max's default scanline renderer (I can't afford Brazil yet :-( ) with the light tracer set to zero bounces.
Total Rendering time : 10 hours and 20 minutes!!

A far more realistic render than the first one. You've improved the lighting greatly, and the reflectons are much better. I particularly like the ice cubes... you've pretty much nailed those as far as materials is concerned. Next logical step would be to look into a faster and more powerful rendering system (when you can afford it) so you could preview your changes much faster and have access to more complex materials, makeing texturing adjustments as needed without having to wait 10 hours. That's a LONG render time. Keep it up, you're improving with leaps and bounds. :-)

Thanks again zandar! I'm definitely getting a faster rendering system. I may have to go with finalrender instead of brazil since it's a few hundred dollars cheaper. You're right, 10 hours is a seriously long time. I'm just glad that max lets you render small parts of your image otherwise it would have taken me months to do this. Cheers.
